Tiny Days is designed with your privacy as a core principle. We believe your family's data belongs to you and only you.
Data Storage
All data you enter in Tiny Days — your child's name, date of birth, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. Nothing is transmitted to any server.
Data Collection
Tiny Days does not collect or store any personal information — such as your child's name or date of birth — on external servers. We have no accounts, no sign-ups, and no cloud sync. Your family's data stays on your device.
Analytics
We use PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to collect anonymous usage data in the app and on this website. This helps us understand how Tiny Days is used so we can improve it.
Analytics data includes:
- Page views and general feature usage
- Device type and operating system
- Anonymous session information
Analytics data does not include your child's name, date of birth, or any personal information you enter in the app. No personal data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.
Third-Party Services
Tiny Days uses PostHog for anonymous analytics as described above. We do not integrate any advertising or user-tracking services. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.
Widget Data
The home screen widget accesses your data through Apple's App Groups, a secure on-device mechanism for sharing data between an app and its widget. This data never leaves your device.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share any personal data with third parties. Anonymous analytics data is processed by PostHog as described above.
Children's Privacy
While Tiny Days is designed for parents to track their baby's age, the app does not collect any personal data from children or anyone else. Your child's name and date of birth never leave your device.
Your Control
You have full control over your data at all times:
- Edit or delete profiles directly within the app
- Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
